Puncknowle Manor Farmhouse is an expansive
farmhouse set in the heart of rural West Dorset, but 5 minutes drive from a
sandy beach at Burton Bradstock. The farm is overlooking the peaceful Bride
Valley, with picturesque villages, surrounded by rolling hills. Puncknowle
itself is a small farming village with a convivial pub just 2 minutes walk from
the Farmhouse.
The farmhouse has views over fields with calves
and horses grazing. The house has been recently redecorated and is well
equipped with modern appliances for your needs. It stands in an enclosed garden
for your enjoyment.
The house, which benefits from central heating,
has been well planned and stylishly decorated. There are two sitting rooms, of
which one consists of an open fireplace and stereo with internal access to the
garden. The second has TV and Video.

The spacious farmhouse kitchen complete with a
double Aga and cooker and dining area is well equipped with a dishwasher, and
microwave. There is a separate utility room with automatic washing machine,
tumble drier and a downstairs toilet.
There are 3 very large double rooms upstairs; one
of these has an ensuite. A further single room and a bathroom upstairs plus a
loft family room with a double bed and four singles.
Rent is inclusive of all bed linen and towels
(except beach towels), heating and electricity and initial fuel for fire/bbq.
A cot and high chair is also provided.
Bridport has a large Safeway and Dorchester a
Tesco. Bridport market is on Wednesdays and Saturdays and Dorchester Market is
on a Wednesday. Please note pets are not accommodated.
How to find Puncknowle
Manor Farmhouse
By road: Using the map below to reach the village of Puncknowle. Head
East through the village with the Crown Inn on your left and the Church on your
right. Look for the farm entrance on your right, opposite Looke Lane. Turn into
the farm going up the hill a short distance, past the farm buildings. The
farmhouse is on the right hand side. Turn right before the farmhouse and park
on the left hand side.

By rail: The nearest mainline station is Dorchester South.
There is a bus service from Puncknowle to Bridport, Weymouth and Dorchester.
Tariff 2006:
- The tariff runs from Saturday to Saturday.
- Arrivals no earlier than 4pm and departures no later than 11am
- A non refundable 25% deposit secures booking
- The balance is due 4 weeks prior to your arrival
- A good housekeeping deposit of £150.00 is requested on arrival, to be
returned 1 week after your stay
- School Holidays at peak Prices and short breaks upon request.
