A non-refundable 25% deposit secures a booking (cheques written out to “Wareham’s Barn Trust”). The balance is due four weeks prior to your arrival. A ‘good housekeeping’ deposit of £200 is requested with the balance, to be returned, minus excess electric usage, one week after your stay. School holidays at peak prices, weekends and short breaks are available upon request. Sorry No Pets allowed!

Directions to Wareham's Barn
For directions toWareham’s Barn (DT2 9BJ will get you very close), please use the map in “Contact Us” on our website - www.pmestate.com - to locate the village of Puncknowle. Drive east on Church St., through the village, past the Estate entrance, following the road as it turns sharply right. The road name then changes to Clay Lane. From there drive up the hill approximately 1/3 mile. Look for the farm track (Signed Wareham’s) on the left, go up the well maintained track about 500 meters. Alternately, from the coast road (B3157) turn onto Clay Lane, go up over the hill and down approximately 400 meters, the turning will be on your right.
The nearest mainline station is Dorchester South. There is a bus service from Puncknowle to Bridport, Dorchester and Weymouth. Bridport has a large Morrison’s and Waitrose, while Waitrose and Tesco are in Dorchester. All will deliver to the Wareham’s Barn via Internet shopping. Bridport Market is held every Wednesday and Saturday, and Dorchester Market is held every Wednesday.
The tariff runs from Friday to Friday. Arrivals no earlier than 4pm, please, and departures no later than 10am.
Wareham’s Barn, a newly restored barn is a gem overlooking the Jurassic coast. With uninterrupted 360° views extending as far as the eye can see, it’s one of the most idyllic settings in Dorset.
Though it is a very private and secluded, it’s only a 5-minute walk to the village pub. The fully enclosed, south facing garden has a large patio with plenty of outdoor seating and a barbeque-with charcoal and lighter fluid for a couple of fires.
Wareham’s Barn has been renovated to the highest standard. The ground floor has an open-floor plan (with a shower and loo not in the open-plan), a modern fully equipped eat in kitchen complete with washing machine. The sitting area is equipped with a large flat screen TV and Blu-ray/dvd player. It’s also hooked up to the Roku Internet device. A simple to use access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and many more Internet channels. Easy-to-follow instructions are posted next to the TV.
There is full speed Internet service and there is a very good phone signal with G4 data. Upstairs consists of a master bedroom and second bedroom with 2 single beds plus a trundle bed.
A large bathroom and a landing with seating and lovely views complete the floor. A baby cot and highchair can be provided with advance notice.
Rent is inclusive of all towels and bed linen, however electric used in excess of 60 kwhrs a day will be charge at 15 pence per kwhr. This is because the heat is electric and so long as it isn’t used in excess, the 60 kwhrs is more than the normal daily usage. The meter is located in the kitchen and is recorded prior to arriving and after departure.
